A century-old house, built the old way and restored a few years ago without losing its bones: the thick walls, the high ceilings, the original plan are all still there, now with the charm only time gives. It sits on a quiet street in the old town, yet close enough to hear the waves and the gulls from the beach.
It was conceived as a small boutique house: few rooms, good materials and an attention to detail you notice the moment you walk in. It has one bedroom with a double bed and a second with a single bed, plus two bathrooms. The right house for a couple, or a couple with one child, who want to stay in the heart of Lagos and walk everywhere.

Where it is
On Rua Gil Eanes, one of the old streets of Lagos' historic centre. Praça Gil Eanes, the restaurants and the shops are a couple of steps away; the marina and Praia da Batata are about 900 m, some ten minutes at an easy pace. A quiet street, yet in the middle of everything.
Parking. Frente Ribeirinha car park (paid), about 300 m away (around 4 minutes on foot).
Arrival and stay

Check-in is done in person or, when arranged, via a key lockbox by the door. Access instructions are sent before arrival. Times outside the usual window depend on availability and are arranged in advance.
Minimum stay. The minimum stay is 5 nights. We make an exception when the calendar leaves a gap of 2 or 3 nights between bookings: if you see one of those gaps free, just ask.
House rules
- No smoking indoors.
- Pets are not accepted.
- No parties or events: the houses are for accommodation.
- Quiet between 10 pm and 8 am: this is a residential area, with neighbours door to door.
- The stated capacity is the maximum. We do not provide extra beds or cots.
- No security deposit, and no municipal tourist tax in Lagos.
